Lazy Planning ("we", "our", "us") operates the Lazy Planning mobile application and web service. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.

• Audio Recordings: Voice notes you record within the app for transcription and analysis.
• Generated Content: Notes, tasks, events, and reports created from your voice recordings.
• Device Information: Device identifiers for multi-device sync and push notifications.
• Usage Data: App usage patterns, feature usage statistics, and error logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Transcribe your audio recordings using speech-to-text services (Soniox).
• Analyze transcriptions using AI (OpenAI, Anthropic) to extract tasks, events, and summaries.
• Generate periodic reports about your productivity patterns.
• Sync your data across devices.
• Send email reports (opt-out available in settings).
• Improve our services and fix issues.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to process your data:

• Soniox: Speech-to-text transcription.
• OpenAI: AI analysis and content generation.
• Anthropic: AI report generation.

Your data is processed according to each provider's privacy policy and data processing agreements.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored on secure servers in Europe.
• All connections use TLS/HTTPS encryption.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
• Audio files are stored in encrypted object storage.
• Daily encrypted backups with 30-day retention.

5. Data Retention

• Active account data is retained as long as your account exists.
• Deleted items are retained for 7-90 days depending on your plan, then permanently removed.
• Audio recordings can be deleted at any time.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all your data (available in app settings).
• Rectification: Update your personal information.
• Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data.
• Portability: Export your data in JSON format.
• Restriction: Limit how we process your data.

7. Data Export and Deletion

You can export all your data (notes, tasks, events, audio) from the app settings. Account deletion can be requested through the app and is processed within 24 hours after admin review. All data, including audio files and backups, is permanently deleted.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
